Why is Janet Napolitano going to be the head of the Dept of Homeland Security?

Seriously what qualifies this woman to be the Head of the Dept. Of Homeland Security? She was Attorney General and now a Governor, thats it!

So what qualifies her to be in charge of one of the most important Depts in the United States Government?

Well besides having more qualifications than Janet before he became the head of the DOHS. He also served in the military as well. So more qualifications plus a military background. Although I agree there were better choices than Tom, he was still far more qualified than Janet.

If had a job as an executive department for homeland security, what would you do about the war?

If Barack Obama was just president, and you had a job in the executive department in homeland security, can you explain whether we should be in war against Iraq betwenn 2-3 sentences, your first reason why we should or should not be at war with Iraq 5-6 sentences,
