The best branch of the military for a career in homeland security?

Currently im a freshman in college pursuing a b.s. in criminal justice and homeland security. I am planning on going to the military possibly next year or after i graduate. That depends on a few things . But basically I want to know the best branch to join fohomeland security. I want to pursue a career in counterterrorism and intelligence. CAn anyone help me?

Where can I find a presidential candidate who will eliminate the Department of Homeland Security?

It sure seems like those civil liberties hating Democrats and big government loving Republicans never cease trying to defend the indefensible existence of the Department of Homeland Security. Who is running for president in this election who will pledge to immediately eliminate the department, or that failing, leave it without a department head or any funding?
