TV police dramas often feature a scene in which some “suit” walks into a local police precinct station, flashes his or her badge and announces “Homeland Security.” Does DHS actually have such LE agents working directly for the dept and not for one of its subordinate agencies?

Just asking cause I posted a silly question under immigration about how to best immigrate into the USA illegally to get some funny answers(which I did )))Unfortunately I cannot show you the question cause it got reported on and removed, and some furious or maybe sexdeprived guy/girl called me a terrorist threath and said that he/she reported me to homeland security. Do you think they really care about what people write on a forum like this? I live in the European Union so I’m wondering if I ever want to go to the USA they would deny me entrance for something like this.
